What Happens at the Monthly Gatherings
NOTE: We are currently not meeting in person, but hope to do so beginning 2023. Please see the page, "During the Pandemic" for our online offerings.
Clients gather at 2:00 pm in Berkeley, located two to three blocks from either downtown Berkeley BART or North Berkeley BART.
Upon arrival you will sign in, fill in a form, pay the fee, and draw a random number. If you would like to bring something to place on the altar, please do. There is no food provided and we ask that you do not bring in food. Water or a beverage in a watertight container is fine.
When everyone has arrived, and we have opened the circle, we call in the spirits using drums and rattles.
After calling the spirits, each client is randomly matched up with a Shamanic Practitioner and has a 15–30 minute session in which a practitioner will drum or rattle for information and/or bring healing to the client through the spirits.
Once everyone has had their session, we will recreate the circle and close the clinic. It usually lasts about 1-1/2 hours.
You are welcome to ask questions, to make individual appointments with practitioners for further work, etc.
Suzanne Savage
Suzanne has been in practice and teaching for 21 years. She has trained at the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, with Sandra Ingerman,Betsy Bergstrom, Tom Cowan, Master Berooz Danadoost and Christina Donnell. Suzanne has been trained in Reiki and is an ordained minister for The Circle of the Sacred Earth.
Richard Russo
Richard Russo is a writer, artist and shamanic practitioner who has completed the three year training with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. He has also studied with Sandra Ingerman, Christina Donnell and Don Juan Nuñez del Prado in Peru. His website is: RichardARusso.com
Catherine Campaigne
Catherine had the inspiration to start the Berkeley Shamanic Clinic after studying Shamanic Healing with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. She is a graduate of Michael Harner’s 3 year program in Advanced Shamanism and Healing and their two-week healing intensive. She has also studied with Ann Riley, Sandra Ingerman, Daniel Flor, and Christina Donnell. She has been a Shamanic Practitioner since 2014. Her website is at catherinecampaigne.com
